Our rock-style Gunpowder green tea was so popular with our fans, we decided to add Pinhead Gunpowder green tea to our menu! These diminutive, dark green, coiled tealeaves have a savory, roasty aroma that carries through into the shimmering, golden-yellow brew. The liquor’s aroma is roasty, with notes of tar, cooked kale and toasted nuts. Its flavor is savory, smooth and roasty, with notes of toasted nori, green beans, seaweed salad and kale. Green flavors make way for a sweet-astringent finish. The second infusion is mellower and smoother with a pronounced green bean note. Pair Pinhead Gunpowder with grilled meats, smoked fish or a flavorful quiche.

Gunpowders

I got this tea with a recent order as a free sample. It's a good Gunpowder that stacks up against other tea companies. I'm not a huge fan of any Gunpowder but it does the trick for me. If you're a fan, I suggest giving this one a try.

sweet, earthy, leafy

Definitely a "green" tea. Flavors are very leafy and earthy with nutty hints. Very smooth with a lovely smell.
