Ordering & Shipping

How do I place an order?
Simply add any item to your shopping cart then proceed to checkout.

How do I pay?
Our secure site accepts all major credit cards and debit cards with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express logo.

Is shopping online safe?
We keep all your information secure and private. All orders are placed through our secure server. We do not sell or distribute any of your information to third parties.

Do I pay sales tax?

There is no tax on tea. Yay!
Only California residents are subject to 9.75% sales tax on teaware and gift sets.

What are your shipping rates?

All orders over $50 receive free shipping. We charge a flat rate of $7.50 for ground shipping and use USPS Priority Shipping.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not currently… but we plan to very soon! If you’d like to be contacted when we begin to offer international shipping, please Email Us. 

About my Order

When was my package shipped?

All orders are shipped within 24 hours of confirmation. Orders placed over the weekend or holidays will go out on the next business day.

How do I track my package?

Once an order is processed and approved, you'll receive a USPS tracking number to the email address you provided during checkout.

What happened to my confirmation email?

If you didn’t receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. If it isn’t there, Email Us.

I noticed my order was damaged during shipping, how do I replace it?

Please email us as soon as you see that the package was damaged. We will arrange for a replacement.
 

Return Policy

How do I return an order?
Our GuaranTea: Customer satisfaction is our number one priority at thepuriTea. We are so confident that you'll enjoy our tea that you can try it risk free. We provide a sample of each tea purchased with every order. If you don't like it, just return your order.

We offer a 30-day return policy with the exception of tea samples. We'll issue a full refurnd and cover return shipping.
 


Question About Tea

How do I keep my tea fresh?
We recommend that you keep tea in a dry, cool, dark place. All of our bags have a freshness seal that will keep your tea fresh and airtight. Make sure to seal your bag immediately after each use, as tea can quickly absorb the surrounding area’s scents and flavors. We package our teas in three- and four-ounce bags to help ensure the utmost freshness. This size is also great for the office, home and travel!

How can I taste free samples of your tea?
We include free samples with all of our orders. If you’re interested in trying more than one tea type, try our Tea Samplers (or sample packs), which are competitively priced and offer you a variety of teas without the commitment of a large purchase.
