Green Sampler

Our Green Sampler is the perfect way to taste each of our green teas before ordering more of your favorites. Each tea sample is enough for five to eight cups, so this set of nutty Dragonwell, vegetal Emerald Needle, fruity White Monkey and minty Gunpowder is enough for 20 to 32 cups of tea. Try each brew a handful of times on your own, or invite a few friends over for a tasting party.

Each green tea variety in this sampler set is individually packaged in an airtight foil package within an attractive thepuriTea box.

Tea to Water Ratio 1:1. If you prefer a stronger flavor, use up to two grams of tea for each cup of water.

Water: Filtered water is best. 180ºF (simmering with tiny bubbles)

Traditional Steeping: 1 to 3 minutes

Flash Steeping: First, we run warm water over the tealeaves and pour it off very quickly. This removes any impurities and “awakens” the tealeaves for brewing. Then, we steep the tea – 10 to 25 seconds.

Green Tea Please!?

Yes, I love Green Tea. I even spell with in proper case. I know, I'm a little crazy. Anyway, here's my assessment of these teas. Dragonwell - best I've had. It's fresh, nutty and creamy. Emerald Needle - better than most White Monkey - AMAZING Gunpowder - changed my life. bought 16oz after trying this since I received a 10% coupon in my package. =) If you like Green Tea but not sure which ones to try, try the sampler. You won't be disappointed!
