Strawberry Black Tea

Sweet, juicy, summery… Who doesn't like strawberries? Chinese black tea meets the candy-sweet aroma and flavor of actual chunks of dried strawberries in this British-style fruity black tea. Strawberry’s allure makes this a perfect introduction to flavored loose-leaf tea, while a premium black tea base provides earthy, mildly tannic, chocolaty notes that appeal to seasoned tea drinkers. Try it with breakfast (toast and strawberry jam… waffles with butter…), dinner (roasted pork with apricot chutney) or dessert (classic vanilla ice cream), or drink it in lieu of port wine, as one of our fans has suggested.

Tea to Water Ratio 1:1. If you prefer a stronger flavor, use up to two grams of tea for each cup of water.

Water: Filtered water is best. Use water at 212ºF (fully boiling)

Traditional Steeping: 3 to 5 minutes

Flash Steeping: First, we run warm water over the tealeaves and pour it off very quickly. This removes any impurities and “awakens” the tealeaves for brewing. Then, we steep the tea – 35 to 60 seconds.

100% Customer Satisfaction is our number one priority at thepuriTea. We provide a sample of each tea purchased with every order. If you don't like it, simply return your order

Great tasting tea!

The great thing about making these tea yourself is, you can control the amount of potency you like in your tea. I myself like it strong, hot or iced with a little lemon if that is your taste. Great tea!

definitely smells like strawberry. Very easy to drink. I imagine myself sipping this on ice on a hot spring day.

Best of the fruit teas.

Great tea. No need for sugar to get the sweetness.

This would be a great dessert tea.

I'd definitely choose this tea over port wine.
