Hi Readers, Our vision when we started thepuriTea was to provide fresh high quality loose leaf teas to the US market. We executed our vision by traveling to Asia and sourcing the teas directly from the farmers. By building relationships with the farms and farmers, we've been able to reach our goal. We looked at the market and realized gourmet loose leaf tea prices are just too high for the average consumer. Our mission is to bring high quality loose leaf tea to anyone and everyone, hopefully through these prices drops more people will enjoy loose leaf tea. After reviewing the prices of our teas, we decided to make sweeping price cuts. We’ve lowered the prices of all our teas except Milk Oolong and Oriental Beauty (but we offer smaller sizes) and our teaware/gifts have been discounted.
